Questions
Do caption presets work with DaVinci Resolve's auto subtitles?
The presets are Fusion titles: you place them on a video track above your footage and type or paste each line. That gives you full control over the animation of every word, which subtitle tracks don't allow.
Will the captions work on vertical 9:16 timelines?
Yes. The titles are resolution-independent — use them on 9:16 Reels and TikTok timelines, 16:9 YouTube timelines or square formats and scale them in the Inspector.
Does it work with the free version of DaVinci Resolve?
Yes — DaVinci Resolve and DaVinci Resolve Studio, version 18 or newer, on Mac and Windows.
Can I use it in client and monetized projects?
Yes. One purchase is a lifetime license for unlimited personal and commercial projects. You can't resell or share the files.
How is it delivered?
Instantly after payment, on screen and by email. Install it with a double-click — see our install guide.
